Athelas Institute is a non-profit organization that was created in 1976 to inspire and enrich the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities. The organization provides an array of innovative work and educational opportunities as well as a variety of services to its consumers. Individuals are supported by staff members who are trained to focus on the safety and overall well-being of their consumers. Athelas has remained a recognized leader in its field for providing creative programs that meet the needs of individuals who use its services.
